UCC §2-709 provides for the recovery of the unpaid contract price. Mason cannot recover the delivery costs because they are not costs incurred as a result of the breach. Mason would have incurred those costs even if Dixon had not breached, i.e., even if Dixon had paid for the goods.
Note that §2-709 does not provide for the recovery of consequential damages.
