No reasonable business would spend $801.51 going to the trade show unless it expected to make considerably more than that in the future as a result of going to the show. So the court has good reason to think that the profits would have been at least $801.51. Note: this kind of reason is not the kind of reliable basis for predicting damages demanded by the "proof with reasonable certainty" requirement.
