In Klockner v. Green, we can determine what count as reasonable ways to accept.What happens when we cannot do so? When it is difficult to figure out what would count as a reasonable method of acceptance.
Restatement (Second) of Contracts§ 32 addresses this.It says that, where there is doubt as to the manner of acceptance the offer invites, the offer invites acceptance either by promising or by performing.
