To have a right to cure under ยง2-508(2), the seller must have had reason to think the non-conforming goods would be acceptable (with or without a reduction in the price). Jones had a reason to think the Super Pro model would be acceptable to Fred because Jones had frequently delivered Super Pro model for half the price when the contract called for the Super-Duper Pro model, and Fred had always accepted the Super Pro model.
